Our speech pathologists support adults who have difficulty with communication, mealtimes, and swallowing.
Humanity Allied Health’s speech pathologists support adults with disability who have difficulty with communication, mealtimes, and swallowing.
We provide practical, everyday support that helps people stay safe, be understood, and take part in daily life. Communication and mealtimes are central to choice, dignity, and wellbeing, and often involve the people who support you.
We work with you to understand how you currently communicate, how mealtimes are managed, and what supports are in place. Together, we identify what’s working, what needs support, and goals that fit into everyday life.
Swallowing difficulties can make eating and drinking unsafe or uncomfortable. The right support can reduce risks and improve mealtime experiences.
Our focus is on what works in real mealtimes, with clear guidance and consistent support.
Flexible, personalised care:
In clinic, mobile or online
Our Humanity Allied Health speech pathologists can see you or your participant at home, at school, in the community, in one of our clinics or via online sessions. We offer flexible service delivery to suit individual needs, preferences and circumstances.
For some people, personal challenges, travel or logistics make online sessions a more practical option, with the added benefit of faster access to speech pathologists who may not be based in the same city. We can travel to a location that works best for you, or where appropriate, provide sessions in one of our clinics.
We support adults with complex communication needs, including people who use little or no spoken language.
Ways we can help:
Our focus is on communication that works in daily life, not just in appointments.
